Your Local Dementia Care Occupational Therapist

Dementia Resilience

Dementia Resilience was founded in 2024 to address the need expressed by many families for local, evidence-based support soon after a dementia diagnosis.

The goal is to help those living with dementia, and their families, move forward and live meaningful lives.

Your local dementia care occupational therapist, Dementia Resilience, supports families and individuals in Melbourne's Eastern suburbs, in particular across the areas of Manningham, Boroondara and Whitehorse.

Rebecca Heine, lead occupational therapist and director, has spent 16 years helping people live independently at home and, in recent years, has focused on supporting individuals with dementia.

Rebecca is passionate about using a dementia rehabilitation framework involving practical, proven methods to ensure people with dementia can stay involved with everyday activities that matter to them.

As a consultant for Specialist Memory Services and a member of the Eastern Dementia Network and Dementia Knowledge Network, Rebecca works together with individuals and organisations to provide a strong support system.

This approach benefits people living with dementia, as well as their families and communities.
